Bison Breakfast Quiche

To halve recipe, follow same baking times but use a 9-inch pie plate
  • Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • (1 Pound Ground) Bison Breakfast Sausage
  • (32 oz shredded and thawed) Hash Brown Potatoes
  • (2/3 Cup Melted) Butter
  • (4 Eggs) 1 Dozen Large Eggs
  • (1 Cup) Heavy Cream
  • (1/2 Cup Shredded) Pepperjack Cheese
  • (1 Cup Shredded) Swiss Cheese
  • (2 Cups Shredded) Cheddar Cheese
  • (1/4 Tsp) Salt
  • (1/8 Tsp) Pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish (or spray with cooking spray)
Crumble and brown bison breakfast sausage in frying pan over medium heat until brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place hash browns in bottom of baking dish and brush with melted butter.
Bake 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F.
Sprinkle hash browns with breakfast sausage.
Combine eggs, cream, cheese, salt and pepper and pour over sausage.
Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
