Slow Cooker Bison and Tortellini

Ingredients

  • (2 Pounds Roast Cut into 5 or 6 Large Pieces) Bison Chuck Blade Roast
  • (1/2 Tsp) Seasoned Salt
  • (1/4 Tsp) Pepper
  • (1 26 oz Jar) Pasta Sauce
  • (1 Cup chopped in bite sized pieces) Zucchini, Carrots, Mushrooms, or a Combination
  • (9 oz) Fresh or Frozen Cheese Tortellini

Directions

1. Place bison in slow cooker and sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. (If you're using carrots, add those at this time, too.) Pour pasta sauce over bison. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
2. Add zucchini and/or mushrooms, and tortellini. Stir. Cover and cook on high 20-30 minutes, or until tender.
